As co-inventor and co-founder of ONE INSTANT Peel apart film, we we took the next step into the world of instant photography, again with the premise of supposedly simple ideas to create new and unprecedented analog possibilities: Our new product line KONO!RAMA™

We start the world´s first effect layers for your instant photography with 9 variants in 3 sizes:

>> No1 effect layers: Raindrops, Austin and Northern Lights

>> No2 effect layers: Shadow Play, Puzzled and Checkered

>> No3 effect layers: Umbrella, Candy Stripes and Sweets

With simplicity to an ingenious result. The basic idea came in 2014 and has become today's KONO!RAMA™. Numerous tests and evaluations followed. Fine-tuning, the final design of the layers took place in 2020.

Due to the re-usability it also needed to have a high light fastness and be as abrasion resistant as possible. We did a lot of research together with a very experienced photo engineer and a highly skilled media technician until we found the perfect transparent base material and the right amount of color application.

It took us gazillions of pictures and a stupendous amount of test runs before we finally achieved our goal. Further layers are in the planning.

The product is completely produced, packaged and registered in Germany*.

1. How often can I use KONO!RAMA Layers?

As often as you like. The KONO!RAMA Layers are produced with high-quality material and a special color application technique. Please don’t forget to remove them from the empty cassette. KONO!RAMA Layers are reusable!

2. I´m running out of Stickers - what can I use instead?

We add 6 Stickers to each packaging. When you’re running out of them you can use normal adhesive strips instead.

3. How can I store KONO!RAMA Layers the best way?

For packaging we used sturdy cardboards and parchment bags. After using the layer store them in the original packaging preferably under dry conditions.

4. Can I stick the layers in a wrong way?

Sticking them on your film cassette is very easy. Have a look at the instruction sheet and nothing can go wrong. Just don´t stick the layers over the gap. In case the camera doesn’t eject the black light protection sheet, open the camera, remove the cassette and adjust the layer and load again. Find out more in our Video tutorial.

5. How can I achieve the best results using the KONO!RAMA Layers?

Use the camera instruction and bright lights for best results. Results may vary.
