KONO! Delight - The line of professional films by KONO Manufaktur®
The Story
We here at the KONO Manufaktur® always took pride in the craftmanship behind the production of our films. Nearly 30 years of professional experience working with film stock, gave us the know how to design and built our machines. Starting back in 2014 with the designing and building of our rem-jet removal machine to produce the KONO! Kolorit films based on motion picture stock. Followed by a device called The Reanimator, which we use to produce our often imitated but never duplicated line of KONO! Original films Sunstroke, Moonstruck, Candy, Monsoon, Mirage and Galaxy. The Reanimator was also the basis for the device we use to produce our fun line of films, showing pre-exposed icons like Hearts, Paws and UFO. 2017 we’ve been asked to help finding a way to bring back the beloved peel apart instant film without the need of a high-tech production line. Today the film is in production at Supersence under our licence and we are proud co-inventors & co-founders and name giver of ONE INSTANT.
2018 B&W films collaboration with Svema, 2019 launch of 35mm cameras I´m Fine Sunstroke/Moonstruck and the redscale film ROTWILD No2, 2020 saw the next milestone, the launch of the KONO!RAMA effect filters for instant photography.
But the biggest task we encountered so far was to figure out how to bring the KONO! look to the King of roll films, the Medium Format. Launched in summer of 2021.
Long before this KONO! Product has been copied. Often copied – never reached.
OUT NOW! KONO! Delight ART II 100 - 120 Medium Format Film!
The sixth product of the KONO! Delight line is now available. We started with the World’s first color tinted 120 Medium Format Film in June 2021. The new Delight ART II 100 Medium Format is inked in a special way, making it particularly suitable for portrait photography. The high-contrast saturation provides a great glow on the skin and thus gives the photo a certain magic. The film with its coloration is also interesting for architectural photography. He skilfully plays with light and shadow and reproduces them in an extraordinary and, above all, effective way in your photos.
Location: Xanten, Germany. In particular, the Roman heritage, the medieval town centre with the imposing cathedral characterise the townscape.

The fifth product of the KONO! Delight line by KONO Manufaktur® produces saturated and at the same time bright colors. When the sun is shining, the film shows the world in delicate pastel shades.
